A surprising little haven

The staff was helpful, and I appreciated the low price during our last-minute stay. It made finding a place to rest during our travels easier. The TV worked perfectly, providing some evening entertainment after a long day.

However, the overall condition of the room was disappointing. There were visible signs of wear, and the decor was quite outdated, making the atmosphere less inviting. I was also concerned about the cleanliness, as some areas did not look properly maintained.

Though there were some hiccups, the dining options really made this trip one for the books. The evening ambiance also added some charm, a silent nod to the area's potential.

The furniture looked like it had seen better days, and the cleaning seemed like a distant memory. It was hard to feel relaxed with such a lack of cleanliness—seriously, stick to your plans and rent elsewhere!

The bathroom was flooded overnight, but the free parking was a nice perk.

Damp odor lingering in the room!!! Several repairs are necessary, and the decor is outdated!!! Thin towels and washcloths do not provide a satisfactory experience!!! Brighten the overall atmosphere!!!

This was just a balanced option for a swift stopover in Chesapeake with incredible value for money. The air conditioning worked well, making the hot weather more tolerable. Make sure to check for any maintenance issues in your room before settling in.

The double room was upgraded and really comfy with clean beds. It was a bit dated but super clean. The location feels safe, and there's hardly any noise except for a train that didn't bother us at all. We liked that it was near grocery stores and restaurants. Perfect if you’re just looking for a place to crash after being out all day. No one disturbed us at all, which was a nice change.

The room had quick check-in and convenient parking right in front, which was a plus. However, black mold was present in the bathroom, and the TV showed signs of malfunction. There was also a smoke detector placed precariously atop the refrigerator, contributing to a sense of unease. Despite the positives, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the room fell short, suggesting that improvements are needed to ensure a comfortable stay.
